Skips Marine – Since 1962

Skip’s Marine Inc. is a major supplier to over 250 wholesale and retail accounts of quality seafood packaging products throughout the U.S.A.

Founded in 1962 by my dad, Raymond “Skip” Drouin, the company originally started out supplying nets and hardware to commercial fishing vessels. My first days with the company go back to a 12 year old kid helping stock shelves and unload trucks in the summer. Always a family business, my mom ran the small office for over 20 years. My sister Anne joined the company a few years later and today is our CFO.

In 1989 I decided to enter the seafood packaging business to help boost our sales and started with a handful of products. Through hard work and product innovation the company sustained steady annual growth. Today we carry over 800 items and run 12 trucks delivering 200 pallets of product througout New England daily. We also ship througout the continental U.S. to processors, restaurants, bakeries and seafood service distributors from our modern 80,000 sq ft facility.
